Complication
No one could escape from problems no matter how perfect their life is. Other than just living the dream, Whitney Houston did face tough time in her life. She married R&B singer, Bobby Brown in 1992 after a 3 year engagement. Many see it as an odd union where both have totally different image and personality. One was seen as a natural born pop princess whereas the other one possessed the bad boy image. Unfortunately, happiness and love did not last long for the pop singer. That was when her life was about to get very complicated when their relationship turned sour. They went on separate ways in 2006. She was blessed with a daughter, Bobbi Kristina Houston Brown.
“Growing around (great musicians), you just can’t help it. I identified with it immediately. It
was something that was so natural to me that when I started singing, it was almost like
speaking”

The Hidden Talent…
In the mid-1990s, she was well known for her role as Rachel Marron in “The Bodyguard” in which she co-starred with Kevin Costner. Perhaps this was her first movie in her acting career and yet she managed to pull it off. The film was incredibly a success at the box office and has stayed in the no.1 spot for ten weeks during the year of the released of the movie, 1992. The film’s soundtrack “I Will Always Love You” was also a hit that helped to raise the popularity. It was the cover of Dolly Parton’s and became one of the best-selling songs of all time. I am sure most of you are quite familiar with this song.
“From a church singer to a backup studio singer to a pop diva!”
Before she was a singer, she was a fashion model. In the early 1980s, she caught the eye of a photographer when she was she was performing with her mother, Cissy Houston. She appeared in the cover of “Seventeen” magazines. Her attractive looks and her girl-next-door charm were the ideal look among the teens.
This beautiful pop superstar has everything a man could ever desire. Let’s face it, she had the perfect voice, the perfect image and such a gorgeous singer who had the sex appeal but maintained a perfect poise. As an idol, she fits the bill. From there, she has been an inspiration to the generation of young singers. She was the Golden Diva of the music industry. With her lost, her replacement is yet to be considered.
So who do you think might be suitable to replace Whitney Houston as the next Golden Diva?

She was on drugs and she committed suicide. How is that of a good role model to the generation of young singers.
Indeed, she was a talented singer that has inspired many, but don’t you think, what she did was inept and irresponsible?
What’s your take?
I meant no harm.
Hey there!
Thanks for the comment. That’s a good question you got there! Yes, you are right that she was on drugs and that has definitely ruined her image as a pop diva. What she did was totally inappropriate.
But for me, what I am trying to focus on was her talents, just like you said she was a talented singer. Mentioning on her awards and how she moved from singing to acting. Perhaps, she has everything it takes to be a diva.
The young singers should look up to her for her talents and her hard works. How she became from an ordinary church singer to a famous singer. They should look at the positive side of her instead of the negative ones.
Unfortunately, her inappropriate and irresponsible act has really destroyed her reputation. But I can safely say that she was the Golden Diva.
Once again thank you and I really appreciate your comment as you have brought up a very good question.
Cheers!
